Adult Counseling and Therapy
In the privacy of an individual session, our licensed, professional counselors provide counseling services for depression, anxiety and phobias, coping with divorce, managing grief and loss and other similar issues. The counselor and client work together to identify the problem and outline treatment goals.
Once treatment goals have been established, the counselor uses a combination of talk therapy and/or take-home exercises that are practiced between sessions to help the client achieve these goals.
Child & Adolescent Counseling
Our team of caring and dedicated professionals is available to assists children and adolescents ages 17 and younger with emotional and behavior problems.
Multisystemic Therapy
Multisystemic Therapy (MST) is a family and community based treatment that addresses the multiple needs of serious juvenile offenders, who are at high risk for out-of-home placement, and their families. MST focuses on changing the known causes and risk factors for offending, including characteristics of the individual youth, the family, peer relations, school functioning, and the neighborhood.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment
The intensive outpatient treatment program is a comprehensive, evidence-based, 16-week individualized program for men and women who want to achieve and maintain sobriety without disrupting their professional and family life. Intensive outpatient treatment is designed to help working adults maintain their jobs, community, and family responsibilities while attending a higher level of treatment than weekly education groups. This program provides the individual with the opportunity to continue his or her daily lifestyle while in treatment. They also provide an alternative to residential treatment, which usually takes the individual out of their home and job, severely impacting family relationships and finances.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation
Psychosocial Rehabilitation seeks to restore the community functioning and well being of an individual who has a psychiatric disability. Our qualified, caring staff at Milestones Wellness Center work to effect changes in a person’s environment and in a person’s ability to deal with their environment, so as to facilitate improvement in symptoms or personal distress. Psychosocial Rehabilitation also focuses on reducing stigma and prejudice and to enable social inclusion, on working collaboratively in order to empower clients.
Comprehensive Community Support Services
Comprehensive Community Support Services seeks to coordinate and provide services and resources to individuals/families in order to foster recovery, rehabilitation and resiliency. CCSS identifies and addresses the barriers that impede the development of skills necessary for independent functioning of persons with severe mental illness in the community. This program also identifies strengths, which may aide the individual or family in the recovery or resiliency process.
