Client’s participate in outside AA/NA meetings and are encouraged to use these meetings as a base for their community based recovery following treatment. Aftercare is essential to the clients continued success and each client will have an aftercare plan on program completion. Admissions Criteria
Villa de Esperanza will consider any adult for admission into the program who is committed to their treatment and recovery within the program limitations and structure, regardless of their ability to pay. Staff at Villa de Esperanza understands alcoholism and addiction as an “addictive disease” that impacts the person’s entire life. The disease progresses until the alcoholic/addict suffers negative consequences in all or many major areas of his/her life. The following areas of one’s life may be negatively impacted by the time the consumer discovers treatment: legal, family, financial, work, and health problems. Many factors are involved in chemical dependency including feelings, behaviors, interactions and lifestyles. Treatment involves helping people to understand their disease and to build a lifestyle that supports recovery from their disease. Although there is no “cure” for the disease, it is entirely possible to manage the disease and remain in recovery for a lifetime. For a person who is looking for freedom from alcohol and/or drugs Villa de Esperanza can teach and direct on the road to recovery.
