Carlsbad Mental Health
Welcome to Carlsbad Mental Health Center (CMHC), a designated Core Service Agency. CMHC is a private, not-for-profit, 501 (c) (3), community mental health care organization providing comprehensive, recovery-focused services to residents in Eddy County, New Mexico and surrounding area. Founded in 1985, CMHC is a leading provider in the delivery of outcome-based behavioral health services throughout the Pecos Valley. As a Core Service Agency (CSA), our staff of caring professionals will help to coordinate critical and essential integrated health services to children, adolescents and adults who have a serious mental illness, severe emotional disturbance, or dependence on alcohol and/or drugs. For those eligible to receive services, the CSAs provide or coordinate psychiatric services, medication management, crisis services, and Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS) that support an individual’s self-identified recovery goals, and other clinical services. Through our collaborative partnership with Presbyterian Medical Services (Carlsbad or Artesia), our staff will also assist and help coordinate any and all medical and dental health care needs.
